Muhammad Ali Baig –

Muhammad-Ali is a CPA licensed in Texas (USA)  with over 30 years of professional experience in the USA, the Middle East and Pakistan. He started his career with Arthur Andersen and served prominent clients all over the GCC. He later associated with a leading Tax Controversy firm in the USA and specialized in resolution of tax conflicts between large taxpayers and taxing authorities. He is considered a subject-matter expert in the field of Taxation, Finance, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) domains.

As a C-suite executive for 15+ years, he was associated with some of the leading brands in the UAE, Pakistan and the USA. He held the positions of Group CFO for Sharjah Investment & Development Authority, Chief Audit Executive of Dana Gas PJSC, and Managing Director (Finance) for Sharjah Waste Management Co. (Bee’ah) – just to name a few.

He served as the Vice-Chair of the Houston CPA Society’s committee on Relations with Taxing Authorities, and later on the Board of Governors of IIA-Karachi. He remained an Advisor to the UAE’s Accountants and Auditors Association (AAA). He’s also a member of the elite Mensa Society.
